The worldwide ubiquity of overuse and underuse of health-care belongings and the gravity of ensuing harms necessitate an investigation of drivers to tell potential choices. We describe the neighborhood of influences that contribute to poor care and recommend that it is pushed by parts that fall into three domains: money and finance; information, bias, and uncertainty; and vitality and human relationships.
